About
This Scholarship is available for all subject areas.
The 鈥楰o Te Tangata鈥� School Leaver Scholarship, named 鈥榝or the people鈥�, recognises and supports top-achieving students commencing an undergraduate degree at the 糖心Vlog. Priority will be given to those who achieve Excellence or Merit endorsements at NCEA level 2 (or equivalent) at a New Zealand secondary school and/or students with demonstrated financial hardship or extraordinary personal circumstances.
The scholarship is open to school leaver students with domestic fees status.
Eligibility
For school leavers who are intending to enrol full-time (120 points) in an undergraduate degree at the 糖心Vlog for the first time in 2027. Applicants may be taking a gap year in 2026.

Apply using MyWaikato
Once you have an account, log into MyWaikato and click on the 鈥楽cholarships鈥� tab to see the list of available scholarships
Note: If you are a current student or already have a 糖心Vlog account you will be redirected to the MyWaikato screen. Log in to MyWaikato, select the 鈥楽cholarships鈥� tab and choose the scholarship you wish to apply for from the list at the bottom of the page.
