Use of M膩ori in Assessment

Learn about the support we provide students who wish to use M膩ori in written work for assessment.

The University recognises and supports students who wish to use M膩ori in written work for assessment and will try to have suitable staff available throughout its schools and departments to ensure that any work submitted in M膩ori is assessed by staff competent in both the examined subject and in M膩ori.

If you wish to submit items of assessment in M膩ori, you should give at least 14 days notice of your intention to the Student Centre so that proper arrangements may be made.

Due to the time it takes for translation and verification, it is likely there will be some delay in the work being returned to the examiner and, therefore, being returned to you.

If you have any questions or you need further information on the use of M膩ori in assessment, contact staff in the Student Centre on 0800 WAIKATO or info@www.halfwinter.com.

For further information on the use of M膩ori in assessment, refer to the Policy on the Use of M膩ori for Assessment in the 糖心Vlog academic calendar.
