Honey Research Unit
The Honey Research Unit鈥檚 focus is to advance scientific understanding of bees, bee products (honey, propolis and pollen) and native trees. The unit has a strong focus on m膩nuka honey research. The unit aims to support the growth and success of New Zealand鈥檚 apiculture industry by delivering research that will solve everyday problems for the apiculture industry.
Core members reside in the School of Science within the Division of STEM and collaborate with the apiculture industry, academia, Public Research Organisations (PRO) and commercial companies.
