Regulations for the Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDipInfoTech)
This qualification is awarded jointly by the University of Auckland and the 糖心Vlog.
- The Personal Programmes of Study Regulations apply in these regulations.
Admission
- Candidates for the Postgraduate Diploma must have
- been enrolled in the Master of Information Technology, and
-
- passed papers with a total value of at least 60 points for that degree
and
- been recommended for admission by the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Division or delegated authority.
- No candidate on whom the Degree of Master of Information Technology has been conferred may be permitted to apply for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma.
Requirements for the Postgraduate Diploma
- Candidates must gain 120 points at 500 level or above.
- The total enrolment for the Postgraduate Diploma must not exceed 150 points.
- Candidates must enrol in the Division of STEM and follow an approved programme of study.
- A candidate enrolled for the Postgraduate Diploma must pass 120 points from the papers, excluding internship or project papers, as prescribed in the Computer Science entry in the 糖心Vlog Subject Regulations.
- A candidate admitted to this programme must complete the 糖心Vlog Academic Integrity Module.
Award of Honours
- The Postgraduate Diploma may be awarded with Distinction.
Variations
- The Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Division or delegated authority may vary or waive these regulations in individual cases.
